During the outbreak of COVID-19, we have taken additional measures to ensure you and your pets are looked after, including increasing the frequency of cleaning and limiting the number of clients coming into the practice.
The advice from the government is changing all the time, and following the latest guidelines we are making further changes to ensure that we keep our team and clients safe, whilst still providing essential care for your pets.
To ensure we continue to protect our clients and our team, we have now taken the decision to suspend all non-emergency appointments and treatments until further notice.
This means that if you have a routine appointment in the coming weeks your appointment will need to be cancelled. This includes vaccination appointments. If your pet’s vaccination becomes overdue during this period please do not worry. Most pets will remain protected
for up to three months past the due date, and we are hopeful that we will be open as normal before then.
Our opening hours remain the same and you can attend the practice for the following:
- If your pet requires urgent care or treatment
- Collection of your pet’s medication including parasite control
- Collection of your pet’s food
If you need to attend the practice we ask that you please remain in your car. Let us know that you have arrived by either phoning the practice from your vehicle or attracting the attention of our receptionist. You will be instructed on what to do by a member of the practice team.
Please order repeat medication for your pet by email where possible to relieve the pressure on our phone lines.
If your pet is in need of urgent care but you are self-isolating or have any symptoms of coronavirus, please contact the surgery for further advice.
We will continue to closely monitor the Coronavirus outbreak and follow the advice provided by the government and veterinary authorities. As soon as we can begin providing non-urgent appointments we will contact you again and let you know.
We wish all our clients the very best during these difficult times and will endeavour to be here for you and your pets.
