Following the recent changes in Government guidance in relation to Covid-19 restrictions, we are looking forward to inviting clients to accompany their pets into the consulting rooms during their visit.

From Monday 7th March, we will be allowing owners to come into the consulting rooms with their pets. However, with a relatively small team of vets, nurses and receptionists we still need to be cautious as we take these steps, to ensure that we can provide a full service for all our clients and their pets.

For now, we are asking that clients continue to wait in their car or our outside waiting area until they are called in by a vet or nurse for their appointment. Clients can stay with their pets in the consulting room during their appointment, before returning to the outside waiting area where our lovely receptionists will meet you with any medication that has been prescribed, and take any payments that are due.

This procedure will allow our clients to stay with their pets for the entirety of their visit but prevent a large number of people congregating in the waiting room and at the reception desk, where space is limited. We are also happy to continue the outside pet collection service for those of you who would feel happier remaining outside for now.

Our team will continue to wear facemasks and we ask that all clients entering the building also wear a facemask. We shall request that only one person accompany their pet into the consulting room, except in special circumstances. We also continue to ask that anyone with covid 19 symptoms does not visit the practice, but to contact us by phone if medical advice is needed.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding, we are looking forward to welcoming you back into the practice.

Love Team Copthorne Vets
