Behaviour Clinic

Copthorne Vets Behaviour Clinics will help you and your pet enjoy life.

Training is based on positive reinforcement, no punishment methods are endorsed with the health and safety of the owners and the welfare of the animal being paramount.

Behaviour problems can be variable and complex.

For this reason, to fully understand what is going on we need to gain a thorough history to have the best chance of improvement.

Once your pet has been accepted as a behaviour case you will be sent a questionnaire for you to complete prior to your consultation. This ensures that we have all the information needed to help us understand your pet’s behaviour.

The consultation lasts for two hours and can be done in person either at the practice or your home, virtually or by telephone.

During this consultation, Naomi will go through the questionnaire with you and ask any additional questions necessary to ensure she has all the information required to put a training plan in place for your pet.

You will receive a written report and training plan as well as email and phone support for 3 months following the initial consultation.

All behaviour training is based on positive reinforcement, no punishment methods are endorsed with the health and safety of the owners and the welfare of the animal being paramount.
