I started my veterinary career in South Shropshire as a mixed vet, spent a year in New Zealand but decided to come back to Shropshire having enjoyed my time before so much and have remained here ever since.

I have undertaken a number of additional qualifications including a certificate in advanced veterinary practice. This incorporated all aspects – with areas in medicine, surgery and clinical pathology. I have also undertaken a certificate in clinical animal behaviour and qualified as a clinical animal behaviourist (CAB) through the APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Councillors).

I love working in first opinion and enjoy the varied cases you see. My love of behaviour evolved from my own dogs’ additional needs and the realisation that to effectively treat our patients we need to consider their mental health and take a holistic approach.

In my spare time I have two young daughters, a Welsh Collie and enjoying running in the hills.[/ultimate_modal]
