Raising Money for Pet Blood Bank
Veterinary Nurse Maddi and her husband are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge this July to raise money for Pet Blood Bank UK.
The challenge will see them complete a 24 mile round trip all on foot with a total ascent of 1585m in less than 12 hours! The 3 peaks they must conquer are Pen-y-Ghent (694 meters), Whernside (736 meters) and Ingleborough (723 meters).
Maddi is passionate about the incredible work the Pet Blood Bank team do after her boy Bandit received a lifesaving blood transfusion that enabled her to enjoy a further 3 years with him. She already organises regular donation sessions at the practice to help this wonderful charity save other dogs lives up and down the country.
