We’ve had lots to celebrate recently with not one, but two of our student nurses qualifying to become Registered Veterinary Nurses.
Firstly, Zoë Griffiths, who achieved a FIRST CLASS HONOURS DEGREE in Veterinary Nursing with Small Animal Rehabilitation. Zoe is a familiar face at Copthorne Vets as whilst studying for her degree at Harper Adams University, she completed several practical placements with us between 2017 and 2020, and now she is a full-time RVN here at Copthorne! We are so lucky to have Zoë on our nursing team, she is a fantastic nurse and a great asset to the team.
In her spare time, Zoë enjoys playing cricket and netball, as well as looking after her many sheep on her family farm. Here she is enjoying an evening cuddle in the sunshine with Willow.
Sarah Evans has been a big part of our Copthorne Vets team since 2004, joining us as an Animal Care Assistant. She became a student veterinary nurse in 2010 and began her training at South Staffordshire College. It has not been an easy few years for Sarah, as many of our clients know, Sarah has struggled with her health and had several major surgeries. This meant putting her training on hold for a while. But with determination, commitment, and lots of hard work, Sarah has achieved her dream of becoming a qualified veterinary nurse and we are all very proud of her.
Our students wouldn’t be able to pass their courses without the teaching, support, and guidance of our Clinical Coaches, who take almost as much enjoyment from their success as they do! So congratulations to you too!
